An amazing location with plenty of green spaces and tranquility and quite a few water bodies filled with wild birds - swans, geese, coots, moorhens, terns etc. Fabulous to get close and observe the local wildlife. Loads of park benches for a picnic with family and friends on a warm sunny day. And plenty of walking trails too.

Lovely short walk, can be extended by going in via the visitors centre walk going the lakes and exit via the slope. Then turn left and walk round the top of the gorge( you can also divert round Mill Wood) and end back where you started. Loads of wildlife and lovely trees. Worth taking the kids . Lots of litter because lazy people cannot be bothered to put in the bin or better still take it home.
