Beautiful place to go for a meal. Good food and helpful friendly staff. Food was excellent and served quickly. If you're lucky, you get to be seated where you can look out to the river and see the swans and barges. Recommend to anyone.
One of my favourite pubs in the Witney area. Located in a wonderful bend of the river, the pub is a warm cozy place to visit for a wonderful lunch. Plenty of seating outdoors as well as indoors. Very friendly staff and a welcoming pub menu make for a great experience. Highly recommended.
Landlord here is an absolute legend. Helped us out big time when caught in a deluge whilst canoeing. Good beer too 🍺.

This place is an absolute gem of a pub, genuinely I got to this place so late in the evening. Big secure carpark so peace of mind leaving the van. Now let me tell you, I opened the door and what an absolutely wonderful atmosphere...locals where friendly and welcoming and the landlord embraced me like a friend. Everything was explained with a smile, showed me to my room (room one) and it was a little piece of heaven. In the morning my breakfast was made to order with a filtered coffee. Off to work another day with a smile on my face. Definitely making the top ten list of hotels, I'll be back hopefully in summer.
