I am with The Elms Surgery since 2014, Dr Ahmad is a good GP, he cares about his patients, knowledgeable, professional and he keeps his word when he said he would call, I could not ask for more. In fact, all the GPs and nurses in the centre are all professional and very attentive. However, there was an occasion that one receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful back in 2019, the rest are all friendly. 9.99 out of 10 for the Elms Surgery.

Extremely friendly service. Efficient booking system and prescription collection. When I was acutely ill during winter crisis, they were apologetic for not able to give me a same day appointment but asked me try calling them again early in next day morning. If I was really sick/in so much pain, I would have gone to A&E rather than waiting for them to call back. Could not believe why people left bad remarks.

Surgery is good but low review because of the receptionist becky. Who is always rude on the phone and veryyyy unhelpful.

Worst surgery I've been so far! Had a bike accident in May and I couldn't move my shoulder. They refused to see me and told me to go hospital....My husband is a high risk person and the hospital doctor told him he should had received a letter from the GP. Never received, and we called in March and November and they still refusing to give one. They say NHS told them to not send letters. We call the England NHS and they said the surgeries complained they have no time for this. Disgusting surgery, will be reporting them to the NHS. Can't refuse to see a patient and put someone life at risk (high risk vulnerable and disable person). Shame on you.

I called to Elms Surgery for an appointment as I have been feeling bad and have pain in chest for more than 5 days and they promised me that they will call me back and that I am on a call waiting list and 3 days have passed and still no call back. I decided to go to A&E as chest pains are nothing to joke nor wait around for. Watford general hospital helped me and gave me prescription and am doing better now, no thanks to Elms Surgery! Terrible service and am going to register with another surgery.
