Wow! Modernist Perfection.
If you like modernist architecture, book yourself in for the tour, as this property is absolute perfection in design.
Only to be seen by pre-booked tour, take the short shuttle journey, guided by your most knowledgable tour & be wowed.
Designed by Patrick Gwynne in 1938 you will be amazed by the design perfection, well appointed with relevant & completed iconic furniture pieces from the modernists & mid-century period.
Highly recommended for any enthusiast.

What a gem of a mid-century home in a part of London definitely worth exploring. The tour was informative and property has been surprisingly well kept as a time capsule in the architect’s honour.
A great modernist building to enjoy. It has been left truly in its original form, with all of the furniture and ingenious features of the era. The guides were super friendly and helpful and really enjoyed showing us around. Don't miss the summer kitchen with very high technology for the time. The green swimming pool is not green due to algae but instead well thought out to blend with the surrounding nature. Don't miss out on the secret map, it is quite difficult to decipher but there are words and colours integrated to spell out 'the homewood' and the name of the architect.
A beautiful modernist home built in the 1930's. A must see but not a well known NT property. We would love to go back in different seasons. A great tour. No photo allowed inside.
