Ford Medical Practice

After reading some reviews on here ,,My God what is up with people.They all human we all in same boat ,,Most complaints technical as well ,I mean come on ,,,At least we have somewhere to actually go for treatment. I am doing this because believe you all need to realise the staff here are all professional and very helpful,,Special thank you to Mark NURSE,,sandra receptionist rang 10-09-20 ,,,ridiculously very helpful Thanks ,,Keep up outstanding work ,

Constantly engaged! ITS JOKE

I recently visited your practice for an appointment with the nurse. On arrival at the practice I tried to book in and the machine said that I could not book in as I was to early for appointment. I proceeded to wait. The nurse came out and asked if any one was waiting for the nurse. I said that I was and she started telling me off for not booking in at the reception. I tried to explain that I was to early to no evail. Then on trying to enter the treatment room my wheelchair could not get through the door way. There was other small details like the attitude of the said nurse but I can't go on. The only redeeming thing was the new receptionist.

The receptionist named Louise was very helpful and polite. However as a whole I'm not happy with this practice. In the past I've had similar experiences to other negative reviews relating to a certain doctor. I feel lost in the process and believe some malice or neglect is going on in secret.

I’m currently sitting in the walk in centre for something I have been to see the Dr about twice and basically been fobbed off both times. I was told to “ring up in a few weeks” about an ongoing problem with my finger which is now infected. Getting an appointment is also near enough impossible unless you’re prepared to wait at least a week. This is the second issue I have had with the practice as last year I was back and forth there for months with back pain that would not go away, I was treated for sciatica and then once the painkillers were clearly not working they changed there mind and said it must be a slipped disc, anyway after constantly requesting a scan I was told I didn’t fit the criteria to warrant a scan so they changed painkillers and upped the dosage. After this carry on for months I eventually ended up in A&E (the same day I had been the Drs and was told to go home with oral morphine). So whilst I was in a&e they managed to get me a scan that I “didn’t fit the criteria” for that day and within a few hours of being there I was told that I had Bone cancer and the tumour was pressing on a nerve causing all this pain, also it had now spread to my lung. I know these Drs are rushed and there’s a lot of people to see but for someone who had been the Drs probably 3 times in 15 years since I left school to going about 10 times in 5 months something should of flagged. They literally haven’t got the time of day for you in there from the receptionist (some of them I can’t say I’ve had dealings with them all) to the Drs I have seen they seem to think they’re doing you a favour.
