Service a bit slow but worth the wait
Some of the finest seafood I've ever had!
If the weather is on your side I can't recommend this place enough.
The food was absolutely stunning, me and my partner shared a seafood platter with langoustine, oysters, 3 types of salmon, some mussels and some queen scallops, every item was served perfect, the sauces and marinades were top notch and in particular, the chowdered the mussels were in was so good we ordered extra bread!
The only recommendation I would make to anyone visiting is to take midge spray, the only distraction from an otherwise perfect meal.
This is a gem of a place, well worth the drive and a combined trip to see Skipness Castle and the view across to Arran. While I only had a hot smoked salmon roll, it was as beautifully presented as Covid-19 restrictions will allow and utterly delicious. The fact the salmon was the product of the nearby smokehouse made it all the better.
The other food looked excellent too (the cake was certainly excellent), and all at really keen prices. They even serve a selection of beers, etc., most of it locally sourced.
Definitely worth a visit!

Arrived quite late and didn't try the food, But we will definitely visit soon again and try it. 5 stars for the scenery and views. You don't find such places that often
