This is a lovely little restaurant full of quaint things to look at...gives it a cottage type feel. The outside dies not reflect the holiness within. The choice of menu is excellent and the food tastes wonderful. Considering how good it was I was shocked when I got the bill....it is VERY reasonably priced indeed. It's also BYOB which is nice and they dont charge corkage. The staff are very welcoming. I will definitely be going back. But you have to book well in advance. Its understandably busy. Thoroughly recommend it.
Lovely atmosphere at this very popular restaurant. It's important to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Delicious menu with a mix of Scottish and Italian cuisine. Good selection on menu with an additional specials board. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
You do need to bring your own alcohol to have with your meal. I would happily recommend this restaurant.
Food absolutely delicious as always, can't wait to go back, missed eating out and this was the best return to social distanced eating that I can recommend. Attention to covid regulations and hygiene were second to none, staff were wonderful, well done . Thank you for such a lovely afternoon.
Great wee place for an evening meal when in the north end of the island. Always book or be prepared to be disappointed! Very welcoming, strong COVID regulation adherence made us feel comfortable. Smoked mackerel and stuffed mushrooms as starters were a meal in themselves followed by slow cooked Arran lamb and loch Fyne salmon. Side Veg dishes were simple, lovely but dauntingly large! Lovely sweet menu too- lemon and lime mousse was light and just the job to top off a lovely evening. BYOB with no corkage.
Visited again and very pleased to discover the same excellent service and 5 star food.Valerie very welcoming and lovely staff.Apple & Strawberry crumble to die for.Will sure be back and a must to book ahead.
