Brilliant pet shop, everything you need for a wide variety of pets and a great selection of pets for sale,nice to see a place who have so much knowledge about animals

Good range of supplies. They have birds and small mammals, though I would recommend checking by phone beforehand. Son bought a Syrian hamster which had wet-tail so they took it back for refund and said they would treat it, which is good and humane. They did emphasise a 48 hour limit on the replacement Russian. It is possible to go in as a group, (including kids), as long as you stick together and maintain social distance.

Most of the staff were very helpful and very friendly. However the fish staff and the reptile staff in the pet store were absolutely horrible. On the zoah’s ark website fish tanks state that they need to be set up “5-10 days in advance”, we told the staff that ours had been up for more than 5 days as it had been up for a week so she said we weren’t allowed to purchase any fish because it needs to be running for 10-14 days. Then she told us that we also needed to bring in a sample of the water! Which the website didn’t state so she turned us away. She wasn’t helpful, horrible to talk to and has done the same thing to us last time we set up our fish tank for the first time. The staff at the garden and equestrian sector were the opposite, amazing to talk to and very, very helpful.

Staff are lovely. Good selection of pet items/food etc. Good selection of some animals too.
