This was our first visit to the Gala Theatre. Its great that the theatre caters for those living with Dementia. The booking process was excellent and the ushers on the evening were very friendly and professional assisting us to our seats. The seating arrangements were very good and the seats very comfortable.
The performance Miss Crispy 1988 was fantastic and very funny. Compliments to all performers plus there was a great atmosphere in the theatre.
Would certainly recommend and would go again for a show.
Having been to the pantomime annually with family for years, we still all love it and have a good laugh. My only complaint is that although the band is good, the volume has been overpowering in the last two pantos and drowns the singers and sadly spoils it for us. I have heard others voice the same opinion. This is something that could be changed to restore its appeal.so hope this is noted and will look forward to the next one.
A great place to see shows and the cinema. The cafe is worth a visit too. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.
Went to see spontaneous potter. It was really good. It's a lovely, quite intimate theatre. I've performed there a couple of times too, the backstage area is really well equipt and the dressing rooms are spacious
The ticket prices are great but the theatre is predominantly for plays and not films.
