Fingered Stacy down at Marcos then went gwens for an omelette.
It was lovely and well maintained. However we were informed that the council or ride owners are cleaning the baby entertainment area and were advised not to allow our babies to use them.
Aside from that Barry Island is always a pleasure 👌
Fantastic family day out. Beautiful beach, very clean and tidy. The arcades are great, the children loved winning tickets. Fair is good fun too. For fish & chips I would highly recommend O'Shae's Cafe & Takeaway. It's right in front of the beach, the fish & chips are delicious and worth visiting the area just for that!
Went to Barry year on year when I was a nipper. Obviously it's all changed, but the pleasure Beach and the front, are clean and tidy and great for the family. The pleasure park may be a bit pricey, but that is understandable due to Covid-19 and the effect it has had on business. Great rides for adults and children alike. Thoroughly recommended.
Spur of the moment decision to go here but really glad we did, more than adequate car parking within walking distance to the beach, plenty of shops and attractions, clean beach with polite announcements encouraging people to stay safe whilst having fun. And to end the day do not leave without sampling O'Shea's fish and chips well worth waiting in a long queue for and very reasonably priced we paid £18.50 for 3 adults and two children. We will definitely be back next year
