Nice clean store, well laid out. I dropped a star as the escalator up to the clothing section has been out of use for too long now, the only option is either of two kids (this isn't ideal at busy times, it prevents more than two parties using it). Everything else I wanted was at the store, served by a friendly staff member. There's plenty of parking and always a great selection of offers as you enter the store. I recommend this site, it's virtually faultless.
What is the COVID policy for ASDA Delivery drivers?
Is it acceptable that they pass bags directly to you, not wearing mask or gloves? Instead of putting bags down and stepping away they are instead breathing and talking right into customer's face as they pass the bags over directly. Being as close as 30 cm!!! Is that OK and responsible?!
I am not very happy at all with some of the customer in Asda Coryton today.
It was as if every one had forgotten about the current covid epidemic and had left it outside the store before coming in, No wonder wales is going back into lockdown tonight at midnight.
I was only doing a small shop and it took me an hour longer than normal due to inconsideration for others up and down the aisles.
Also I was on the understanding that it was one person to one trolley and not family outings.
As I was leaving I spoke to a member of staff at the front of the store and asked if there was a limit to how many people are aloud in the store, they told me there is but know one has control how customers behave once they are in the store only at the door to how many can come in.
This store is my local supermarket but I’m afraid to go there again at the moment.
If any of the stores managers are reading this, please can you help by controlling the spread of covid by controlling your customers in your store, far to many in the shop and very rude with it.
Its clean for the most part which is good during these uncertain times they have the 2 metre rule enforced by signs everywhere
Really not a great ASDA tbh, the stock is way less varied than the other ASDAs in Cardiff and it feels like a waste of a journey a lot of the time.
My main gripe is with the pharmacy. The number of times me, my family and my friends have had issues with those working in the pharmacy is horrendous. The pharmacists are incredibly nosey and I feel like they get little power trips over challenging every single person who comes to ask for pain relief. I understand that some of your medications are addictive but it’s not your right to challenge a customer and to make them feel like some kind of junkie for asking for a box of ibuprofen :/ especially when your own doctor says it’s okay to take. Felt really dejected and annoyed because I basically wasted my time going out and risking my health to pick some stuff up for myself from the pharmacy only to be pressured into buying the more overall expensive, lesser option.
The rest of the store is ok, staff is nice and all but please look into the customer care when it comes to sensitive issues regarding the pharmacy. I have incredibly bad social anxiety and to be challenged all the time for something that I know I’m safe to take and am ok with leaves me wishing I’d never tried.
