doctors are good, but the receptionists seem to do everything they can to make sure you're not seen by anyone. can't get any help even when it is borderline an emergency. they have zero telephone manner, the second it hits 10am you're guaranteed to not get medical help even if it is urgent, you'd have more chance of meeting the queen than getting an appointment! absolutely hideous service, i dread having to book in and that's not the mental process you want to go through when you're ill. the actual doctors are great but it doesn't even seem worth going with how bad reception is.

I recently had corna virus 19. I rang the surgery to ask to speak to a doctor to see if was normal for breathing trouble. At this time I was very unwell the person that answersed the phone told me I should ring before 10.30 if I like to speak to a doctor. Evan though I told her I was very unwell. I asked to speak to her manager who told me the same but she did get a doctor to ring me. The doctors are very good. I was admitted to the heath hospital and put on a high dependency word given oxygen and antibiotics. Can not thank the doctors and nurses enough they where great. But the surgery need a person with empathy at the desk and compassion I personally think it's a carring profession. Hope this helps to improve the surgery

Ok surgery otherwise but can't get an appointment as the line is always busy, when you're not well the last thing you want to do is call 100 times just to get in touch with someone (and there is only a 2hr window to book). Its a shame really as my old gp also used my health online for appointment booking in addition to phoning in and it worked, if you didn't turn up to appointments they would remove you (which is fair). The tannoy also needs to be louder, can barely hear it and everytime I go people seem confused as to who's name has been called.
