Made an eConsultant appointment online as advised by the website and entered all my details correctly. However, instead of contacting me on my phone number (the one I entered minutes prior), Locking Hill surgery decided to disclose the appointment time and the doctor to my mothers number, with whom I no longer live with. This seems like a completely careless mistake when handling medical data.
After having to contact my mother to find out my appointment time of 10.45 (being assured I would be rang within 30 minutes of this time) I was never phoned, and had to ring the surgery who vaguely told me to "keep my phone with me" as I may get a phone call at some point in the day. Extremely unprofessional.
This GP practice is an absolute joke, if you think you're going to get to see a doctor, think again.
Virtually impossible to get through on the phone so you have to use their econsultant form online. When they eventually got in touch with me the receptionist said a doctor had reviewed my online form and they could offer me a phone consultancy in a week's time. A bit of a joke really, if I thought my problem would wait a week I would not have contacted the doctors in the first place. It's no wonder the A&E are overrun as people have nowhere else to go, the GP's are an absolute joke.
Awful. Could not get an appointment for love nore money. Had to do an online form which never worked. Receptionist wouldn't even speak on the phone. Finally got an appointment after 4 months for a doctor to call me by having to get a doctor from a hospital to call to say they needed to call me. Then for an email saying I was no longer a patient the next day. They would sooner see people die than actually do their job
Just like to say thank you for giving me 28 days to find myself another Drs!!! In lockdown...
They have got terrible you can't ring for anything when I have tried they cut me off they have changed their online service but I can't get on it I'm seriously considering changing
