Visited to purchase a dog bed. Was informed (rudely) that they cannot currently sell me a dogs bed unless I also buy pet food!? When I asked why it was stated (again rudely) that it is not considered an essential item so they can’t sell it. Not sure what difference buying dog food makes to a bed becoming an essential item? When I asked if I can buy some dog treats the answer was an abrupt ‘no’. Keen to support local businesses but no effort was made whatsoever to help me find a way to help me purchase so I simply returned it to the shelf and bought the same one on Amazon (also cheaper). Suggest staff are informed that manners don’t cost anything and whilst it is challenging for everyone currently, being polite and solution focused always makes everyone’s day better.

Great animal store with everything that you need for you dog, cat and even rabbit needs! Lovely and knowledgable staff:). You can even take your pet to pick and chose a toy. This will be my pet shop from now on:).

Paid a visit to Pets Corner this afternoon and was help by a lady called Katie. Got to say, lots of knowledge and was able to help us with our questions about our cats and dog. Will definately shop here again. Everything Katie said just made sense. Looking forward to visiting next time. I am sure it won't be that long before going back to purchase more food and goodies for our furbabies. Thanks for the advice Katie.

Always fantastic service at Cardiff pets corner, friendly welcome and willing staff. Our dog loves visiting and its very useful that shop is next to a vets, especially since pets are always made a fuss of before or after, it means if you have pets who don't like vets like ours, they don't dread visiting the whole area and are excited in the hope they are visiting Pets Corner rather than the vets. Our dog particularly runs into the shop to see Scott, who she adores.
