Took my 13 week old American bulldog cross XL big bully today for his 1st visit for his nails to be clipped amazing service with great care and reassurance given to Zeus highly recommended and will definitely be back in the near future

Well what can I say ..... I took my little girl to K8’s Short Bark & Sides as she had a very bad experience with her last groomer. I spoke to Kate before taking Gizzy to her explaining what had happened with the previous groomer and what Gizzy is like. Kate met Gizzy before her appointment and made huge fusses of her, made her feel comfortable and relaxed being in her salon and slowly introduced her to the equipment which would be used on her. On her appointment day, Gizzy was actually excited when I took her in wanting to go to Kate straight away which was lovely to see as she normally cowered into me and try to leave. When I picked her up later that day .... Gizzy looked and smelled amazing..!!! Such a lovely cut for her and Kate said she had no problems with Gizzy at all. She stayed still for her groom and didn’t even try to get away from the dryer. Such a friendly, caring and professional service from Kate, Gizzy has made a friend for life and am definitely going to be taking my girl there from now on. I can honestly recommend K8’s Short Bark & Sides for such a high quality service with an exceptional eye for the smaller details of every little pup who goes there .... A***** The following week ... I took my girl for a play date/walk with Mic from K8’s Short Bark & Sides. Gizzy loves playing and socialising with other dogs so I thought this service would be ideal for her. True enough, as soon as she got there she was so excited, 1 for going on a big walk and 2 because there were friends there for her to play with. When I picked her up later she was so excited, and was still happy to be playing with her new found friends ... she slept all the way home, definitely had a great day. We will be using the dog walking/play date service again from K8’s Short Bark & Sides such a fantastic way for Gizzy to socialise and have fun with other pups.

Pebbles has been a client at K8's for a long time and always receives the best care really looks after all the dogs she grooms would never take her anywhere else. I cannot recommend them enough

Today was my 4 month cockapoo puppy's first time being groomed. I was a nervous wreck about her going in case she hated it, but I was worried about nothing. Kate is clearly some sort of dog whisperer, as my dog took to her straight away. She let her have a sniff around the grooming parlour (which is very clean & professional) & got to know her a bit before I left. Upon return, my pup wasn't even bothered to see me, she was wagging her tail & skipping about the place, looking cleaner than I'd ever seen her with an adorable bandana around her neck. She enjoyed it so much, she sat down and wouldn't move when it was time to leave. Not what I'd expected at all, but I'm so relieved after being so nervous for her. I won't be taking her anywhere else now after the good care they took of her. Kate also took lots of pictures of her first grooming experience for me. Couldn't recommend Kate & her team enough, they have a new life long customer in me & my dog.
