Massive supermarket. Open until late
When I shop here it's really just for convenience. However, I find that a few products have a tendency to go bad several days before the use by date which suggests that they are being left out of the chiller for too long at some point in the supply chain. This is mostly chicken, turkey mince and some of the ready meals like chicken korma and red Thai chicken curry. I cannot comment on any other meat products as I do not purchase them. I have also noticed rotten or mouldy items in the fresh produce section from time to time. It is an unnecessary frustration to have to return items however the management are fairly considerate in granting a refund.
Easy parking right outside, good disabled access. Starbucks across road if you need bathroom. Very busy during term time and always at a weekend. They have the cutest small trollies for children, even need a pound to release, magically transforms kids into well behaved shopping companions. I've never experienced items out of stock, well apart from the pretzels which a fresh and yummy.
Great place for all your shopping. Be sure to visit a Lidl store whenever you pass through one, you would not be disappointed.
Not much social distancing going on in store. People not following rules.
