Not a lot of parking spaces. Great walk. Atmospheric, beautiful scenery and a bit of history. Sign boards helped explain what is around and about. Dog loved it too.

It really is a lovely walk although the postcode is wrong and directs you up to a farm where the road ends. Instead keep driving into Failford which is just after the bridge and park on the left hand side then walk back along the road on the opposite side you will see a gap in the hedge that's you at the start of the walk.

If you like local history in Ayrshire then you'll love this beautiful walk to Peden's Cove...park at The Failford Inn and you'll find the trail over the bridge. It a lovely 2 mile walk along the river, a mile each way. Highly recommend.

Lovely walk along the river Ayr gorge from failford to pedens cove and handy info board to tell you a bit of the history surrounding it.
