This sort of thing makes a good day out. The country needs more things like this. But unfortunately its far too overpriced. At £45 per person for just 1 and a half hours i can think of much better things i could do with that sort of money. If not for the overpricing it would be worth a visit
Highest recommendations for this birds of prey experience, the handler was extremely knowledgeable pleasant and very friendly. Excellent family day out our kids loved being up close too and getting to handle these magnificent birds. The boys were a tad apprehensive to begin with but the bird handler soon put them at ease! We will most definitely be visiting again soon. 10/10 Thank You xx
I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Joann was so absolutely wonderful and her birds were so beautiful. We learned so much, and had a wonderful hands on time handling the birds. She answered all our questions, and was just a joy to spend the afternoon with. The grounds are also just stunning, beautiful drive too. If you’re even just considering it, book this lovely lovely experience!
My 11-year old son and I had a great time this afternoon at the mini falconry experience. We were the only ones in the group so had really individualised attention - my son, who is usually quite reserved, was really relaxed and had a good shot at both holding and flying the beautiful birds. We'll be back - thanks very much!
What an amazing birthday experience. We highly recommend Kintail Birds of Prey. With the one on one experience & session taken at the birds pace & that of a novice handler, it was just right for us. With the relaxed atmosphere, we felt welcome and at home right away. The passion & love for the birds on display & handled, clearly comes through the informative talk given. The experience of handling these amazing birds & photographs we have walked away with will remain priceless memories always. We wish Kintail Birds of Prey every success for the future.
