Chips were terrible, texture like rubber. All other food we had was fine, and staff were nice. Helped with allergies and knew exactly what was ok and what was not

Food tasted okay however as we are not local and were staying in the dog and partridge inn located in Ashbourne we ordered through just eat and mistakenly put the address for another dog and partridge inn located in stoke on trent the driver called to say he was outside but it was hard to communicate as his English wasn't great in the end he said we was going to call the shop and then call back, this never happened and then I called the shop myself and the lady I spoke to seamed to speak better English and we worked out that we had put the wrong address in on just eat this was our mistake but when I explained this to the lady on the phone she said started to be rude and threatened to cancel my order so had to then drive there myself to pick up the food myself. Total shambles and would AVOID at all costs also could hear the staff arguing in the background in Turkish which was totally unprofessional

Food was supposed to be delivered at 8.30 p.m. and it still hasn't arrived at 9.30 p.m. It's too late for my wife to eat and she has gone to bed. Apparently it was out for delivery, then it hadn't left yet so I said I would collect then they said they will cook it now! Furious, I'd rather have known so that i could have cooked for my wife. AVOID!!

I wish we had read the real reviews here before we ordered. Seems like a very repetitive tale. Ordered food at 8pm for our family to Alton Towers Hotel, after an hour we phoned to ask where it was, another 30 minutes they said, they are busy, after another hour we phoned....still not ready, we cancel and all of a sudden they are surprised and angry. My son is in bed, we are past hungry at 10:30pm and so cross that our wonderful holiday is ruined by a company that seems to do this continuously and then somehow constantly ‘balance’ their reviews. Disgusted and disappointed. Please do not order from here unless you are happy to wait for a minimum of two hours. Can’t tell you what the food was like though as we never got any!!
