I had a very mixed experience, throughout my shopping in-store and requesting advice via the DFS phoneline. I dealt with a man whose name I didn't catch, a man called Marcus, a man called Gareth at the Llandudno shop. Plus two ladies on the phone called Susie and Ashley. Both ladies were fantastically professional and helpful: 11 out of 10 for their customer service! Marcus and the unnamed man were very knowledgeable and professional, plus friendly. In the end I opted not to purchase from DFS, as my experience with Gareth was just so off-putting. He was unprofessional, he insulted my preferred colours/choices of sofa, he lied about and bad-mouthed the opposition in a very blatantly BSing way, and he generally conducted himself like a characiture of a cheesy,80's, go-getter sales type; (It reminded me of the 80's guy in Furturama with Boneitus😄). To be fair, his "style" probably charms a lot of people, but as I find arrogance so sickeningly offensive it out me off spending my money there.
