The ruins of the castle are well worth a visit, set on a high rock in the middle of a picturesque valley. It's a short walk from the car park, lovely views and so tranquil.

What a beautiful piece of history. I recomend this place if you want to know more about the Welsh history and it's struggles. The castle is in the middle of one beautiful valley, you can see why the Welsh Prince Llywelyn ap Iorwerth, chose this location to have this fortress build.

Beautiful views, free entry and only a very short walk from the road. Well worth a visit, a fascinating glimpse into Welsh history.

Castle ruin on top of a hill,small rocky car park, walk up not too strenuous. Spectacular all around views. Well worth a visit
