Over the last few weeks Iceland have stopped stocking a lot of their Slimming World range which, as a non-meat eater, has made it difficult for me during my SW journey. Today there was just one SW freezer tucked in the corner behind a pillar and display basket. I know Christmas is coming and they have to adapt but this isn't the way to help us dieters who've still got a few pounds to lose before the event. Also it was very difficult to social-distance around the store with all the trolleys of stock waiting to go out. It will be a long time before I go back.
Popped in quickly with my old parents & was served on the till by the same young lady as before when I was in with my son. Today was no different, cheerful happy demeanor as if she'd just started a job she loved. Even help my 87yr old mum with her money. Didn't catch her name again, but will next time as I think she's a credit to the company. In the current gloomy environment I believe it's important to celebrate the good too & this lady deserves recognition.
Plenty of signage re social distancing, sanitation stations and numbers allowed in store. Quiet when I visited and lots of good offers. Lovely pleasant staff 😁
