A good stop for a couple of hours, even in the drizzle. Some huts on a hill with a couple of people dressed as iron age inhabitants explaining what life would have been like there. One guy did a great fire lighting demonstration. The cafe was worth a visit too. Jacket potatoes, toasted sandwich. A couple of specials too. A little gift shop.

Great day out, fascinating place with a very knowledgeable guide waiting for you in the main house at the village. We felt very safe with all the covid procedures in place. A very interesting day out and fun for all the family!

Had a fantastic day out here. The two ladies who explained how this had all come about and what things were like in the Iron age were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Very definitely a place to visit again

The site is a nice enough walk on its own, but where it really shines are the engaging, costumed staff members doing demonstrations. Both extremely engaging, funny and knowledgeable. Had some cracking cake in the cafe after too.

Great place for the little ones to explore. Friendly people to educate about the area. Would recommend several visits👍
