Nice selection of fruit and veg and they have a really nice bakery but the customer service is too hit and miss. There is a young woman there who is really nice and helpful but there is a bearded man who is rude and unwelcoming. I arrived way before closing time and was refused entry by him, he looked me up and down and said ‘we’re closing’ but then I saw him let in another two customers after me? He obviously didn’t want me in the shop. I ended up shopping at the Co-op where I was welcome.

Nice quality fresh fruit n veg. Wide range of long life products. No cheaper than a supermarket. Minimal regard to covid measures - take your own alcohol hand gel and have a good mask

Went there tonight like I always do to buy my groceries and meat supporting our local shop. Usually I buy the best end lamb chops wich are £20 per kg. Bit expensiv , but good quality. So if i pay that much per kg, I do want the big chops wich happend to be mixed with lots of little ones (who wants to pay for bones ?) However , the butcher tonight refused , told me that I can get wichever he wants to give me. I said dont worry about it and walked away. Now if you have professional butchers in there, they should be able to do their job and actually make u buy but not like that. Rude and unhelpfull. Won't go back.
