I’ve had a wonderful experience of Friends Road Medical Practice over the last three years and I am sad I can’t take them all with me when I move away! All the staff have been tremendously warm and friendly, proactive and caring. On each occasion where I needed their help, their responses were swift and they were able to understand the problem and offer a good solution. I was always able to find a suitable time for an appointment and the current service offered over the phone during COVID restrictions was very efficient and reassuring. The team obviously works hard and I can easily recommend them to anyone in the area who needs to register with a GP.

Worst experience!! Staff are so rude and not professional. They don’t know how to communicate with people. I just had to change the appointment for my baby as somehow my appointment was moved by GP. Which is the third time already. But ‘lovely’ Jenny just said that there is no appointment for my baby, I have to wait and called back end of the week. Seriously??? I need urgent appointment for my baby, GP moved without asking for me, and on the phone instead of help I received NO. I can’t believe it! I never received so bad service. Don’t forget we’re human and we can’t be treated with this behaviour. My one year baby has the problems and you can’t make the appointment for him. Such a shame! And that’s not first time. I know sometimes happens that appointments can be cancelled but please give us another time which is suitable for us as well. FOR ALL PARENTS HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS GP!!

Never managed to get an appointment within a week’s time. At times, have had to wait for two weeks for an appointment. The staff is also quite rude on the phone. All is well once you are at the clinic, but the process before is very abrupt and painful. Also, the latest online appointment system never works. Good use of my NI and Tax contribution!

Terrible experiences - the staff is rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Absolutely impossible to get an appointment EVEN in an emergency situation. Do not recommend.

A fantastic GP surgery with one of the best Senior Partners around, and one of the most respected in Croydon. This GP surgery has a fantastic reputation locally because they deliver local high quality care to local people. Croydon loves this surgery, and so do I. I've recommended them to friends because the care here is great. The GPs actually talk to you and ask how you are. Excellent team and superb Practice Manager who cannot do enough to help.
