Lots of great stuff for really good prices. Huge variety too as it is a super store. Amazing range of vegan options I dont think I've seen that many in any other stores at all. Good for students too as there is lots of cheap ready meals, pot noodles, bulk and tinned stuff etc.
Last 2 Saturdays I've been there to get pizzas made up and due to staff shortages they couldn't do it. The 1st time was 1 lady on her own and today was 2 people but told not until 12 30pm. I go early to avoid busy times especially when most people including staff are not wearing masks. Went to Belvedere Asda and 1 lady on her own was happy to make them.
I was in Asda, Bexleyheath today and to my dismay there were more staff not wearing masks than staff that were wearing masks. Most of those that were wearing masks had them over their chins and not covering their mouths or noses. There was also a large number of customers not wearing masks yet not challenged by staff. I understand they can be uncomfortable but when there are signs telling everyone to wear masks why do the staff feel it does not apply to them. It's very disappointing to see this with the way things are at the moment, one thing that cheered me up was watching an Asda TV ad telling us how all their staff wear masks and ask customers to do the same.
On Sundays, don't drive in before 11am. Parking Eye issues a £70 fine. I have read so many complaints about this issue, and appeals being rejected. I went to the store before 11am, waited till the store opened, did my shop and left within 2 hours. Received a fine in the post, all because I drove in before 11am. And ASDA just passes the buck. Beware people, stealth tax on a technicality. During these Covid pandemic days, you think you are doing the right thing by going early and being safe. They don't care. Never going to this ASDA in Bexleyheath ever again.
