I am always trying Chinese takeaways because I am addicted to noodles.
Tried the chicken noodles twice from Phoenix Chinese Take Away which were a bit soft.
I think there must be two chefs as once it was ok, the other time was too oily.
Same with the Singapore noodles which were oily.
The curries are bland, oily and somehow powdery in texture.
Overall, ok but the noodles were too soft.
One of my go-to places to grab something to eat. excellent location, neat, and fantastic customer service. 5 stars!
Best chinese around. Even tho i moved out of croydon, i still get my weekly fill from here
We have been using this takeaway for years but no more the food has gone downhill too much and we always say once more nope never again, the crispy shredded beef was rock hard, we spent over £60 and all you get is one bag of prawn crackers I asked for another bag and she charged me I explained I could have made 3 separate orders and got 3 bags free she still charged what cost them pennies has now cost them a good customer, the place has started to look dirty too it's a shame because it used to be so tasty now tasteless and oily.
I dont like it one bit. Tastes like poo. China Red forever
