This is a fantastic surgery. The doctors genuinely care about you and couldn’t do more for you. They are extremely hard working and under a lot of pressure but find the time to ask you about yourself as a person. Ditto the receptionists. I always manage to get an appointment - most often on the same day - and feel very lucky indeed to have them as my doctors.
Uncaring, unempathetic and incompetent with doctors with very little knowledge, yet too stubborn to change their backward and prehistoric views of certain illnesses. Would not recommend to anyone who wants any sort of decent care for chronic conditions. They should be ashamed of themselves
Awful service. The phone is never answered, so despite being told by 111 to phone the surgery, good luck getting through. One particular reception staff member is exceptionally rude and even once you are seen by a GP, you have a 1 in 2 chance of seeing a doctor that you can have a degree of confidence in.
My elderly mother, Mrs. Jean Brownlow has used this surgery for over 50 years. She thinks she is so lucky having a lovely surgery like this, that she is able to have an appointment on the same day as phoning. Admittedly you sometimes have wait 20 minutes on the phont to get this. All the doctors are very, very caring and would not change surgeries for the world.
