I am chasing them up for a good month to find out what happened to my daughter’s glasses and none of them can explain it to me. Moreover, it is mission IMPOSSIBLE to reach the manager over the phone. I was promised that she will give me a call back 4 times, but she never did. NO communication, NO updates, NO customer service! All I want now is to get my daughter’s glasses ASAP and never come back there again.

Specsavers Enfield branch - Don’t even bother, service is appalling, explanation by the staff is confusing, they don’t apologise for it and when they do, it’s done with an attitude! I would leave no star if I could on the review for this branch. My husband and daughters have all ordered glasses. When my daughter went to collect her glasses, the wrong glasses were fitted in with her lens, and she then had to settle for a display pair. They tried to sell us a contact lens direct debit (DD) package with the promise of 3 months supply at half price - 30 pairs each month (90 pairs in total) for £42, and thereafter £28 per month. I paid £42 on the day and the receipt clearly showed 90 pairs for £42, and the contract I signed showed a £28 monthly instalment starting on 27 Dec 20. Only 60 pairs were received and they later insisted I had to pay an extra £18 for another 30 pairs. On 27 Oct (instead of 27 Dec as per the contract), £40 (instead of £28 as per the contract) was debited from my account! A clear misrepresentation just to get me to sign up to their DD package! I complained twice to Customer Service at Specsavers, first on their web form, next via email, only acknowledged receipt on the second time to say someone at the branch will look into it but no further emails thereafter, no apology at all, not heard from Enfield Branch via email as requested, only an email from Specsavers asking why I had cancelled my DD package! They simply do not care!

The actual eye test and ordering went fine, however they lost my glasses, they could not find them when I asked to pick them up from another branch! Promised to call me - never happened. I went in person and they re-ordered them and again they lost them! Manager was asked to call me - never happened! 2 months later and I am still waiting for them

Just a commercial set up. Hard sell on frames and hearing aids, where profit is most. Often, not really suitable eg lens too thick for frame. I bought ‘two for one’ recently. Both frames have broken. Specsavers do repair but not always convenient. Shouldn’t break so easily. One pair have been repaired 6 times. They are not even a year old!

I was well taken care of. The stress of having bad eyesight all of a sudden was relieved with the lovely customer service I was shown. Despite losing my way there and getting late to my appointment, the staff were understanding and were able to find another appointment and I didn't have to wait long. The optician and Geoffrey were really so reassuring and helpful. They gave me enough information to alleviate my fears and worries regarding my eyesight and different glassware options. I got a courtesy call a few days after to update me on the progress of my purchase. The costumer service was professional and courteous! I really felt special there. I definitely highly recommend them 🤩
