Moel Penderyn is my favourite place to be - always beautifully peaceful with incredible panoramic views. You can see Pen y Fan and Corn Du quite clearly in the distance. It makes a great circular walk from Penderyn. You can head up the track that leads to the falls, then up onto Moel Penderyn and use the Roman Road to finish off the walk as you head back down to the village. If you're lucky you'll get to see the horses which are usually in the area. They're not wild like a lot of the horses in the Brecon Beacons National Park, but kept on the land by one of the local farms. They're quite friendly and often come to say hello.
