My partner broke their glasses and was really struggling without them. Went into Specsavers Eltham to get a new pair sorted, no problems at all. Store was clean and tidy and everyone following covid guidelines, dispensing optician who helped us was quick and polite and gave us a good deal (free thin and light lenses with built in anti-glare) I used to work at Specsavers so I understand the deals, he could have given us free anti-glare but we actually got more for our money because he gave us a better offer.
We were quoted two weeks till the glasses were ready, got in touch with the store after less than a week because my partner was really having trouble without glasses, and the lenses were already in. The lab tech got the lenses cut and called us the next day to say the spex were ready to collect and we could just pop in when we are ready and they'll give them to us at the door. Really great experience, lovely attentive staff and excellent service. They went above and beyond to help us out when we needed it.
My wife had an eye check & black spot was found behind her eye! She was told this will have to be checked in hospital & should receive a letter within 2 weeks! No letter received !!!!!!! Specsavers have phoned twice today & have shown care & have gone above & beyond to help in these anxious times. Many thanks from a concerned husband.
Just had to write and say what a wonderful experience I had today in store; from the tall helpful guy who greeted us at the door, a contact lense fitting for my daughter Cara by the patient and friendly lady upstairs, and ending with superb customer service on a glasses repair by Shaq. What made it special was the genuine desire to help and the proactive communication. I left the shop very happy.
