It’s the worst practice I’ve been to. The doctor doesn’t care at all. He’s just waiting for retirement! I have few example of mistreatment with the practice but the worst was when I got pregnant! I read in books and nhs website that you can start taking folic acid when planning the pregnancy but when I visited the GP at 5weeks pregnant (due to severe morning sickness) he asked me not to take anything until I see him in 3weeks time to confirm my pregnancy and he will explain what I needed to do. After 3weeks, he scribbled on a piece of paper the number of a midwife(without name of the centre or midwife) and said the midwife will tell me what to take or not. It took nearly 4weeks for me to see a midwife and I didn’t start taking folic acid and vitamin D until I was at the end of my trimester!
