Just an ordinal tube station and there's no lift nor escalator.
"Welcome to Finchley Road station" ,"this is a very good morning". Simple words that makes my days better. Not sure what's the name of the man talking every morning at the station (south direction), but he is very professional and relaxing. He sometimes makes jokes too when people do not follow the safety instructions, like "believe it or not, there is a yellow line". I just love his approach. Well done recruiters and hiring managers.
Provides good interchange between the metropolitan and jubilee lines via cross platform interchange, similar to Barons Court and Mile End, however the station lacks step free access to and from the platform. The nearby West Hampstead station has lifts to use as an alternative.
Can you please clean the waiting area (where there are doors to protect against the cold/wind) in this station? Everyday you can smell urine and other unidentified stinky smells. Thanks.
Love the tube these days TFL do a really good job keeping everything clean and tidy
