Really enjoyed watching Back To The Future at the drive in film club at Alexandra Palace. There were plenty of marshals organising it, cars were well spaced apart, and we had a bit of wiggle room to make sure we had a good view (low car). Food, cinema snacks and drinks are ordered via an app and delivered by servers on roller skates. There are porta-loos on site though you might want to take a torch! Actual film is shown in a car park, but the screen was plenty big enough even though we weren't at the front, and you get the sound simply by tuning your car radio to their broadcast. Worked perfectly. All round it was a fun evening out, and is recommended!
Loved the retro touch of bringing hotdogs on rollerskates! There was a safe distance between cars and the view to the screen was great. Also, "Ally Pally" is an amazing area for a walk before or after the show.
Best thing I have done in lockdown, great to have the drive in movie experience..I will defo go again.
We had a good time.. a little trouble with the sounds interference at first but it worked great after a few mins and we enjoyed our film
Really Great!!! watched jurrasic Park with the fam I do not know why they don't keep this drive in film club open forever I will always pay to go everyweek better than regular cinemas in my opinion.
