If two trains arrive at the same time, the overcrowding is incredible and you have to queue to leave the station. They often have to close the station due to over crowding and the overall vibe is "a bit rapey".
Awful station! The staircase is too small and in rush time the staff often doesn't allow people to enter for several minutes until passengers have left the station which means I loose my train quite a lot. Also it's incredible the fact that the station doesn't have a lift, so no wheelchairs are allowed and pushchairs will have to be carried.
Agreed with all negative comments above. A second entrance from Wellesley road would be great. Only positive is the staff are clearly trying to do their best with what is a severely sub-par situation
Of all of London's Tube stations, this is one of the cleanest.
The worst station imaginable - at rush hour they can't control the amount of people so they hold everyone before the one barrier. Their system is so illogical and extremely dangerous. In the morning expect to be in a queue of 20 people all trying to get through the one barrier. They usually time it just before an eastbound train arrives so expect to frequently miss your train and have to wait 10minutes. The fact I pay £1500+ a year for this service is disgraceful.
