About 8 yrs ago I got fish and chips from here and was quite unwell. So I decided that I would NEVER buy anything from here again. However, whilst on my evening walk fancied chips, thought, surely it can’t still be bad. I was wrong! First of all the lady in there spoke in Turkish to make a comment on the fact I was only buying chips (as I understand Turkish), surely there is nothing wrong with just buying chips!! We got home and noticed that most of the chips were crispy and the smell of oil was so strong, my kids couldn’t bear to smell or eat it. The taste was oily and heavy. That night my husband was up all night with acid reflux, which is caused by either dirty/ reused oil or very cheap oil! I also had an upset stomach all night. I think from now on I will stick to my gut instincts! Please avoid !!!

After telling myself I wouldn't ever go in here again. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again after many years! Boy was I wrong to do that!!! First of all I should have walked out when I noticed none of the staff were wearing a mask! But we were hungry! So I ordered two portions of chips. Whilst waiting, he picked his phone up and left me standing at the counter. There was no customer service! Was not asked if I wanted salt or vinager, maybe because I was ONLY buying chips!!????! The chips looked like they had been either cooked over and over again or cooked with dirty/reused oil. My children couldn't eat them and the smell that came from them was so strong and disgusting! Most of the chips were crusty and stale. I have been up all night with acid reflux, something that only happens when dirty old oil is used! So please avoid this place!!

Ordered a half pounder with cheese, it had been re heated in the microwave 🤮 Phoned up to complain and ask why and just got an angry geezer denying it! No apology either. I thought the customer was always right?

Worst and greasiest fish & chips ever. Just eating haddock and chips fresh cooked in front of me: the chips are like soggy oven chips the fish is tasteless and all of it is dripping oil. Will never use them again!
