Been coming to this place for over 20 years! Authentic local chinese food run by a lovely family whos been running this place since the 80s!
I call this superb restaurant every couple of days as I love the good air that is part of this restaurant. The personel is exceptionally cordial and qualified. The service is extraordinarily quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is good. I came more than once and I was always delighted. The cost is honest. I recommend this place to to all.
Large order. Cooked quickly but tasted beyond awful. Hong Kong Sweet and sour chicken was blood red, noodles tasted like flour, even the rice was off. My fault for not sticking with what I knew. It may be called good years but it was a bad night for Chinese food
Our usual Chinese food restaurant was shut so we chose Good Year's after scouring Deliveroo options etc. Food was okay although I'll give it a couple of hours to see if I get ill. Chicken with black bean and green peppers had mushrooms which was odd and so did my Chinese Chicken Curry. Surplus of mushrooms, perhaps. Duck was not crispy at all and was just...duck.
Good portions, food tasted okay. In the days of Covid, the shop didn't take cards so bring cash and anti bac wipes and sanitizer gel.
The Government's Food Hygiene Rating is only 2 Stars when inspected 31 Jan 2018 with "improvements necessary". That's why they don't have the stars displayed on their front door like other places. There is much better and "cleaner" out there.
