There is one receptionist who is extremely rude on the phone AWFUL phone manner, I think she's a lady with a hijab called Asma or something. As a patient I always feel taken back by her rude tone. poor impression of the surgery indeed.

When having a phone appointment they only ring once, I missed it so I rearranged for a week later, and they rang the wrong number which I couldn't accept phone calls on and told them as much. The receptionist was sympathetic but said to me "yeah the problem with our doctors is that they won't ring back. I've texted her and she said no, she won't call you back. would you like to make another appointment?" At this point I was crying down the phone and telling her I'm in pain and I need help. I am disgusted with how little the doctors care, and frankly feel sorry for the receptionists who have to deal with upset patients who cant get the help they need.

Phoned up on evening if 2/9/2020 to see if I could register Lovely lady called Sita( sorry if spelt wrong ) She was very kind, polite and helpful Also I didn’t have to fill out registration on line which was a relief 😉 Very good service and I will be joining this practice

Avoid this gp! Since January I have had thyroid problems and I decided to seek treatment from a private endocrinologist, as booking a visit to an endocrinologist with a gp could take months. After receiving the treatment and finally returning to the euthyroid phase, my endocrinologist told me that I had to check with blood test my thyroid conditions every six months and that if I wanted he could send a letter to my gp to refer to an NHS endocrinologist to saving money on the visit private. Dr. Patel was able to see the endocrinologist's letter, the various blood tests done practically every month from January until June, but she neither accepts nor prescribes me, nor recognizes my endocrinologist and has asked me to do the bloof test again another time. After seeing that I had made the last blood test in late June. In addition, the secretaries of the gp are not at all professional and unkind. Avoid this gp, it's just a waste of time!!!
