During my visit to the store on 2 Jan 2021, I experienced poor customer service at the deli counter. I approached the counter and greeted the staff member in Polish. She did not say a word, so I assumed she was either busy or not working. I waited in silence for about 2 minutes before leaving the counter. I noticed this deli counter worker was speaking with another customer although it was not clear if she was serving said customer. I came back to the counter a few moments later and the deli counter staff refused to look or speak to me until I eventually asked the aforementioned customer if she was being served. She wasn't. The staff member finally wanted to take my order. I checked the products before deciding. As I was doing this, I noticed the staff member giving a side eye to the customer. It seemed as though my being there was inconvenient. I gave her the product info and quantity needed. She continued to converse with the other customer, presumably her friend, while processing the deli meat. She asked if I wanted anything else (mumbling it) without looking me in the eye. I said no. She immediately returned to resume her conversation with the other customer. This experience is an example of bad customer service. At the very least, you should acknowledge the customer and inform them if you are busy and need extra time to finish something. Having worked in retail myself, I know that it's not the most enjoyable job. That said, ignoring your customer is completely unacceptable. This store also has inconsistencies in enforcing face coverings. Some customers and staff wear their face coverings below the nose or on their chins. This is problematic in a store with such narrow spaces. Good customer service was provided by the checkout staff. Perhaps they can offer guidance to their deli counterparts.

A very good small supermarket with excellent bread, a fresh meat counter. Some amazing squash to dilute, strawberry, raspberry etc Most of the food like squash, tinned fish and bread doesnt contain additives, a bonus these days. Polish cured meat and very good beer. Well worth a visit!

Utterly delicious Polish bread. Can be sliced very thinly so it is perfect for eating smoked salmon.

All great as usual. Friendly staff, decent prices and excellent food!

Amazing selection of deli meats and sausages. Chicken and pork always fresh and well priced. Hidden gem for chocolate as well.
