Tesco Superstore

I shopped at this place a lot. I like shopping here in the morning when it's quiet. I want to say thank you to one of the staffs at Tesco, his name is steve-o, I couldn't find ginger, so I asked him, he was putting things out on shelves at the time and he was enthusiastic and very nice to me, he communicated with me right away to ensure me there are ginger and he will get them for me right away. So I walk away thinking I will come back for it later. After he fetched the ginger for me, he actually made the effort to find me and took me to the ginger isle. Later, I also couldn't find cream cheese, I noticed the shelf where they usually put cream cheese was closed and seemes to have issue, so I asked the lady with dark skin who were putting freeze products out on shelves, she didn't seem happy and just say the shelf has problems, so I asked her if there are cream cheese or soft cheese and she said no, not today. Obviously that was a lie just to get rid of me, I later found one myself. When I walked to the isle for oriental products, I notice there was no price tag for one of the mango juice products that I am interested in purchasing and asked the female staff who were working there, she was also very nice to me and made the effort to go to the till to check the price for me. She is with curly hair, in her 40 or 50s, white and average height lady, she didn't wear name tag so I don't know her name. I shopped on the 9th of Nov at around 8:20. I want to write down my experience because I really like this particular Tesco shop, I notice big improvement on food quality, shop management. I hope they can reward the good staffs and help staffs that are not doing their jobs to improve. It's difficult to separate good staffs and I hope my review can help a little. I am a loyal customer and hope Tesco gets better every day, I used to think Tesco is going down but I think it is improving these days. I even sell my mark and Spencer stocks and buy Tesco stocks instead. 😁 Another request, can you sell sour cream and chive pretzels? You only have the classic one which is not as good as the sour cream and chive flavour! Thank you!

Very large supermarket with a wide range of products and affordable prices. Best value for money grocery shopping for this area. Unfortunately, many customers are still not wearing face coverings inside the store, despite it being mandatory. Some of the staff members were not wearing them, either. They should put more effort into following and enforcing the rules.

Take photos of the shelf prices of every item you buy. This is a very badly managed store. I have been overcharged here quite a few times now because of shelf pricing label errors. The customer service staff make customers feel like it's their fault too. It's what Britain has become I suppose. Only a few tills ever seem to be opened most times I have been here.

Not a large supermarket by today's standards. This is the size of maybe two and a half Tesco Metro shops but this isn't the reason for the two stars. The pricing has been wrong too many times to be mildly forgivable then add to that the silly clubcard price to me looks as if the "normal" price is a ripoff. I very rarely need to use this shop and in five years would say I have been there 10 times. It looks and feels dreary inside. Tesco did a minor store refreshment scheme to win back customers about 8 years ago but this shop must have missed it, or be too much of a cashcow to shut... With Lidl opening in Shepherd's Bush and further extending due to high demand and now another Lidl in Hammesmith due to open in 2021 this Tesco will suffer further.
