Bit of a letdown for us found the Ribs very dry, Mongolian Lamb overcooked and very tough, same with the Shredded Beef could not eat it and Butterfly Prawns over cooked again, looked like the food was put together in a rush, but the waiter service was good, it was also very expensive will not return to this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious and wonderful! We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Saturday night after being turned away at our first choice. If you're looking for authentic and tasty Chinese food, Mandarin Palace is absolutely a must! The restaurant is in a very cozy and old building and although we had not booked ahead of time we were seated at a very quiet and lovely table for 2. The food was really fantastic and the service was even better! We were helped by several very friendly and polite servers. My fiance and I shared the house fried rice, duck in orange sauce, and chicken with black bean sauce- all very good. Additionally, we tried their house white wine and thought it was really delicious!! One of the best restaurants in Hornchurch, and even the Essex area! Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will absolutely be back!
