No social distancing was being practiced customers standing and chatting away without masks but being served food anyway . Cash being taken freely then food being handled soon after. The fish was under cooked very soggy. Chips were nice and fresh no scraps just full chips. Service was ok!

Really good fish and chips. Good value for money. A little bit of hospitality will certainly make a huge difference.
I give two stars only because it was freshly cooked.
I arrived at lunchtime and requested fish and chips. I was not made aware of their "lunchtime small fish and chips special" and so recieved and was charged for a standard fish and chips. Together with a drink and a small helping of curry sauce set me back £9.50 The fish was small in my opinion. Batter pulled clean away from the fish when I tried to split it in half. The fish was slimy and not in anyway flakey.
I can't say I've had a worse fish and chips ever. . Would recommend you look at the alternative fish restaurant, I certainly will.
This was a first and last.
One word the sums all up is CRAFTY they will give fresh chips when you order online but if you go to the chippy place to buy they will give you a mixed of old ones and fresh ones, they will place the worst ones at the bottom of the take away bag ,we didn’t enjoy our meal properly.
