Shambolic, disorganised. Customers and staff scattered all over a weird open plan set up with no idea where to go or who to talk to. Eventually we were saved by one nice employee and whisked over to his desk where he was already serving someone else, giving half his attention to each of us. Management need to have a real think about how to make this work better. Santander opposite side of the road, couldn't be a more different experience: professional, clearly sign posted and welcoming.
I came into this branch with my husband to do some banking. This young man who works here Timothy I believe his name is was extremely rude to me he spoke very aggressively and abrupt. Barcarlays is such a great establishment with a rich heritage. I understand that people are under immense pressure due to the times we are in with Covid19. However, the poor attitude and behaviour that was shown is still unacceptable. Maybe more training should be done to avoid this kind of stuff happening again. I was rather upset as my husband and I commuted to the store, I was expecting a good standard of customer service.
