Nicely refurbished store with glass door display units for meats. Clean and full shelves.

Thought I'd try Lidl for a change, so wasn't familiar with the store layout. I liked the size of the store and a pretty good choice of goods, some different ones to what I'm used to buying which is a good thing. Overall though I found it quite messy with some items being in more than one place which was a bit confusing. I am glad I tried it but will be sticking to my usual store

Most of the shelves were all empty, there was only 1 queue for the tills with trolleys, and the staff on the till was simply chatting away with his colleague who was handling the self checkout tills, even though there was a massive queue for the trolleys, they kept on chatting and ignored the queue, which slowed down the process even more. When it came to my turn to pay, he didn't even ask me whether I had a lidl plus card or not, I saw it on his till then I remembered and scanned it, he then turned his back away from me again chatting to his colleague instead of taking the payment, when he realised that am still waiting to pay, then he took the payment again still chatting to his colleague. There was no customer service skill at all there with both staffs, no eye contact, no acknowledgement. Very poor service with poor standard of the store as well. Really disappointed especially with the store location being on the main busy road, shelves should be stacked up, and I didn't even go at a later time thinking all the products are gone at this time. Neither there were any other staffs on the shop floor to even help out. Definitely not going back to this store again!!!

I went to Liddles this afternoon. The shop wasnt very well stocked in certain areas again. Not many staff on the shop floor restocking. 1 till open and one was closed, but had to reopen because the ques were very long. There is self service too which were busy. More staff needed.
