Very good cocktails beautifully presented and reasonably priced. Food is simple but well made offering some really fresh and tasty sharing platters.
The burger priced at £17 I would like to think must be out of this world! Maybe I will try one day. Staff very friendly and down to earth. My only really issue with this place is the ambience. Seems to be little effort put in to the decor and atmosphere. Pretty harsh lighting, standard tables, generic music and tired looking wall decor means that it is not overly inviting or cosy at all.
Very nice food, and good atmosphere. We will definitely return. Burger was big (had to eat with knife and fork), but meat very tasty, and the chips more like quarter potatoes! Belly of pork in bean cassoulet tasty, with excellent mixture of fatty, meaty, chewy, crispy.
Interesting but currently sensibly limited menu. Great atmosphere. A welcome addition to the Stroud restaurant line up. Excellent vegan risotto (and that's from a non vegan able to order anything on the menu). Why not five stars? Wine could have been more interesting at the price bracket. We will return.
Only ever been in here for drinks, but I've heard the food is good too. Bar dude has always been very chatty and helpful if you go for something different.
Fabulous food, wonderful service. Can't fault it. Highly recommended 👌
