This is just the most awesome new restaurant in Stroud. Japanese style food that is just delicious. Katsu curry is amazing
First time here in their permanent location having previously visited the pop up in the food hall and loved it. Unfortunately the food did not match what I had previously had.
Both the chicken and the gyoza were over cooked and not as tasty. That's not to say I won't come again as it is a welcome addition to Stroud and everyone is allowed an off day.
I did find though that the service was non existent in terms of actually getting served and seated both of which I had to force upon them! And there were only 3 other people eating so no excuses! And when I left I literally walked out without any acknowledgement. I'm sure these issues will soon be resolved and will look forward to giving it another go.
The karaage chicken was lip smacking good. Absolutely unbeatable.
