This is the worst place to have a venue. They are so rude and have no ways of talking to you. I went to a wedding and their service was so bad . The food was cold and the waiters didn’t have a clue when you are complaining. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have a function there. If you want your guests to be happy then not at ASHIANA

Not worth the stress/hassle, time and money to deal with this business. Cold and delayed food served, Very unprofessional would rate a zero on customer service. Firstly would like to state me and my partner totally understand these are unprecedented times with COVID-19 having a massive affect on everyday life let alone the wedding/events industry. However we have to say all other businesses we have been dealing with have been absolutely amazing overall even though they are in the same boat. Ashiana on the other hand were totally unprofessional and did not have an ounce of empathy towards us wanting to get married which for wedding/events venue owners was really shocking to me. Bottom line was they were only interested in putting money in their pockets. This venue was booked late 2019 for a proposed mehndi party (120 people) for July 2020 however due to COVID restriction we asked if this could be moved to September 2020 to allow us time to reassess the situation and make a decision on what would be feasible. As the year went on we came to the conclusion that with the new government guidelines/laws on numbers for wedding events this would not work and decided to change the use of the venue to hold our Nikah ceremony for the proposed date of the 12th of September 2020. We spoke to the person that was dealing with the booking since late 2019 and no issues were raised we then asked if we could visit the venue to confirm guest numbers and services that could be provided, we agreed to visit on the 30/08/20 at 7pm. On arriving at the venue the person we had been speaking to was not there and we was informed that he had been on furlough and not currently actively working for the business and any comms we had with him were essentially not valid. As you can imagine this was a real shock as this was the only contact point we had had and really put us in the back foot as intention to see the venue to arrange the day was now in doubt. We then processed to ask if we could still have the date at which point the person we was told was the “owner” asked how many people we said 30 as that was the maximum allowed under COVID laws at the time, he said that this would not be feasible under the price quoted (£25 per head) and that we would have to pay more or if we wanted we could have more guests basically breaking the law. We said we mould not break the law and felt an increase in price is something we would be willing to discuss to which he said new price would be £30 per head, we weighed up the feeling of paying extra vs doubting we would find anywhere else more reasonable within 2 weeks and agreed the new price. We then asked if we could see the staging area and main pet of venue to which he refused as they had a function on and did not want us to interrupt, which we did respect however he’s hesitance was a little concerning so I asked openly how many people are in the event and he said “errrrrr 45/50” so openly admitted to breaking the law. We felt that was his risk and to ensure no issues with our event we would visit again to see the hall area and discuss properly our needs and what they could provide. The owner said he would be away until the 10/09/20 and his son would be able to take the meeting in a few days rather than us wait and only leave two days before proposed booking date. We took the meeting with the son which we agreed pricing, service, timings, décor and food choices. However it did not fill me with confidence so we decided to visit again when the owner was back on the 10th and typically when we were talking about what had been agreed, the owner said no to all and asked for more money per head for food, more for table service and more for décor that had previously all been agreed in writing via texts and email which now was being voided and we was being told we could have our deposit back and cancel the date (2 days away from event) after a bit of back and forth we agreed an additional payment amount and asked for assurances on what we had just agreed. PLEASE READ ZAHRA CHAUDHRY REVIEW FOR FINAL PARAGRAGH

Final paragraph I promise. Let’s just say on the day no décor was laid as planned tables were not set out with any care and no help to fix the situation. Starters were planned for 6:30pm and revived them at 7:15pm, mains were due at 7/7:15 and were not received until 8:30pm and was all cold we believe this was left over food for a party that had the front of the venue that had music and more that 30 people of which we have footage. Type servers did not have a clue and had the feel of two people asked to worked cash in hand and never served before to the point where deserts and cake was suppose to be served at 9pm due to all the delays me and Zahra handed desserts to guests at 9:45pm when we were actually suppose to leave the venue. The owner did not make contact with us for the entire night and left all our communication with what seemed like another family member who had no interest in helping us through out the night. So in summary do not book with this venue or at least do not go to if you have other options regardless of cost saving you think you will make.

This was the worst experience ever! Can’t believe how unprofessional the manager Fiaz was. He gave very poor service in a wedding, only one staff member serving cold food. No mask at all. Not just that the manager had no sympathy to anyone, no apologies given nothing! He hosted another party across the corridor which was unacceptable. Due to this circumstances, they held a party with dancing and with a buffet and totally ignored the Covid wedding which he was meant to be paying attention too. Total bump. Would give no star if I could.
