So much better than faceless multiplex. Membership recommended for booking ahead and discount on the drinks you are sure to sample
Picturehouse Central is a gorgeous cinema in the heart of London, which is reflected in ticket and snack prices! Despite the higher end pricing, I would say it's worth it for the quality cinematic experience.
I visited recently (10th September) to watch Tenet, where social distancing measurements were still in place. For a cinema located in Central London, I was surprised to find it pretty much deserted. However, this thankfully didn't prevent staff from maintaining the necessary safety precautions. Including us, there were approximately seven people in our screening. Perfect!
Great cinema, good movie selection! And amazing member's bar including roof terrace with views on Westminster and Piccadilly Circus.
The first floor bar is a gem in the heart of West End, airy and spacious which is convenient for the current times we live in.
Reasonable prices and friendly staff, thank you to the delightful South African bar lady who was a pleasure to speak to.
Never felt rushed finishing drinks despite it being virtually empty and comfy seats.
All the screens are first class. Comfy seats and plenty of leg room. A good mix of major releases and and art movies. Classic films are also revived. Above average cakes and sundries in the cafe.
