Reasonable, accessible sheltered transport interchange.

7 miles (11 km) east of the City of London and a shorter distance east of Canary Wharf. These are the twin centres of London's financial industry, which is a major user of the airport. The airport was developed by the engineering company Mowlem in 1986–87.
Lovely airport located in the heart of London and very business like no unnecessary delays. Easy to access by DLR or bus to every part of London. Generally preferable if you are trying to avoid long travel to and from Heathrow airport.
Possibly the best airport in Europe. Security is fast. Travel to and from is fast. Small. Food is decent but be aware they don't start serving hit breakfast until around seven. Otherwise the entire airport is basically a lounge.
