This local shop offers various types of Asian food including Japanese mochi, Chinese dumplings, Thai dry fruits, chilli oils, dry mushrooms, ready made noodles and noodles pot, frozen meats, many kinds of rice and so on. Compared to other shops the prices are much higher. I guess this is because of limited number of Asian shops around. The prices on the food shelf have not updated for many months so whenever you want to buy something, need to take it to the till to check the price. Overall a handy shop for the locals.

Scam alert: be very aware when paying in this shop. On three separate occasions they have charged me double the sticker price by putting a different number into the till than what is on the shelf/item. This is not an isolated incident - see comments from other customers for evidence. When confronted with clear evidence (i.e., the sticker price and the amount of money they put into the card machine), they deny this and fabricate some tall tale about it being a 'special' product (it's not, one can easily verify via the internet). Once, perhaps an error, twice I am suspicious, but three times - a clear scam. I have put a formal complaint into trading standards and I would encourage you to do the same if the same happens to you.

Small store however they have some decent items here which aren't available in most British stores. Wasabi Peas yummy 😋 Got myself a hot x2 Spicy noodle which was delicious but SPICY. Did it for the challenge as you see a few of people do. Check this store out for some traditional chinese food.
